AI competitor analysis uses collected business information to summarise patterns, compare positioning and suggest questions for further investigation. Its value depends on the quality and freshness of the evidence. A fluent explanation is not a substitute for a source, and a missing record is not evidence that a competitor has been inactive.
Give the analysis a business question
Start with a specific decision: which product benefit should a campaign explain, what objections should a landing page address, or which content formats deserve a test? Kaalie combines your business context with available competitor evidence to make the answer more useful than a generic marketing checklist.
Ask for evidence and alternatives
Attach relevant creatives to a Kaalie AI conversation and ask it to compare the messages. Ask which observations support the conclusion and what else could explain the pattern. Separate facts, interpretations and proposed actions. If the evidence is mostly captions or previews, do not treat the response as a complete account of the video.
Keep the final decision yours
Use the output to prepare a focused brief, not to automate every choice. Check dates, source context and whether your product can support the suggested claim. Your own campaign results should determine whether the idea is repeated, revised or dropped.
A worked example
Try: “Compare these three ads. Which customer problem does each address? Show the supporting wording, then suggest one positioning test for our brand without copying a competitor.”
Example for explanation; not a measured customer result.Common questions
Does AI know why a competitor’s campaign succeeded?
It can suggest explanations from available evidence. It cannot establish causation or see private campaign results.
What should I include in a useful prompt?
Your decision, target audience, relevant examples and the kind of output you need—for example, three testable ideas with supporting evidence.
