Try Kaalie →What does public Google Ads research cover?
Public ad research focuses on advertiser identity and available creatives. It can help you understand which products, offers and messages a business presents. It is not the same as Auction Insights in your own Google Ads account, and it does not provide a complete list of competitors’ keywords, bids or conversions.
Confirm the advertiser before comparing
Brand names, parent companies and regional advertisers do not always match exactly. Cross-check the website and business identity before treating an advertiser as a competitor. A missing match can mean the identity needs more research; it should not be presented as proof that the brand runs no Google ads.
Read the ad and its destination together
Compare the promise in the creative with the information on the linked page when available. Does the page explain the benefit, provide evidence and make the next step clear? Kaalie’s collected creatives can provide starting points for these comparisons. Source media or landing-page previews may be unavailable even when an ad record exists.
Make a campaign hypothesis, not a revenue claim
A repeated offer might suggest a positioning priority. It does not tell you how much the advertiser spent or whether the campaign converted. Write a testable hypothesis for your own creative, then use your own analytics to assess it.
A worked example
A software brand advertises fast setup but sends visitors to a broad homepage. A useful test for your own brand could be a dedicated setup walkthrough that matches the promise in the ad.
Example for explanation; not a measured customer result.Common questions
Can I see the exact keywords a competitor buys?
Not from these public creative records. Do not confuse ad research with a verified keyword or bidding report.
Why might a video preview be missing?
The source may not expose a playable asset, or the media URL may expire. The original source remains the best place to check availability.
